When we welcome a new puppy, we aren't just teaching commands; we are shaping how they see the world for the rest of their lives. It’s a beautiful opportunity to build their confidence as they navigate new human friends, other dogs, and the big world around them. My goal is to provide the gentle, responsible guidance they need in a space where they feel safe to learn and grow by your side.
By observing your puppy in their natural environment, we can address the specific habits that cause frustration. We then translate those findings into a personalized plan. Through side-by-side coaching, we move directly into practical work, teaching you how to establish boundaries and secure compliance so that you leave our first session ready for a lifetime of success.
While we prioritize structure and leadership, we recognize that treats are a valuable tool for building a puppy’s initial foundation. In the early stages, rewards help us 'mark' the right choices and build a positive association with learning.
However, our ultimate goal is to move beyond the food. We use treats to teach the skill, but we use clear boundaries and consistent leadership to ensure that compliance becomes a lifestyle, not just a reaction to a snack.
Our assessment is designed to collect the data necessary for a behavioural assessment of your puppy's behaviour. We identify your goals and ensure your puppy is properly positioned for our training methodology.
